I'm an entrepreneur, investor, and author. I build companies, back founders, and share ideas about technology, money, and the future. I have invested in more than 300 companies, including over 20 unicorns.

What I do today

Silvia, Inc (SVIA). I'm Chairman and CEO of Silvia, a leading AI research lab focused on personal finance.
Pomp Investments. A private, permanent capital vehicle I use to invest in public and private markets.
Lunch Money. An independent media company at the intersection of technology and finance.
The Pompliano Foundation. Our family foundation, focused on New York City, military veterans, and children's education and healthcare.

How I got here

I served in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Sergeant and did a combat deployment to Iraq from 2008 to 2009. After the Army, I earned a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and started two small tech companies, which were each eventually acquired.

I then joined Facebook as a product manager, where I led the growth team for Facebook Pages, helped Mark Zuckerberg grow his personal audience on Facebook, and launched products like AMBER Alerts and Voter Registration.

In 2016, I co-founded Full Tilt Capital, an early-stage venture firm, with Jason Williams. Morgan Creek Capital acquired Full Tilt in 2018, and we created Morgan Creek Digital to invest in bitcoin and digital assets. I've since invested in more than 300 private companies, including more than 20 unicorns.

Today I am the Chairman and CEO of Silvia, Inc (SVIA), a leading AI research lab for personal finance that trades on the Nasdaq. I also continue to invest in public and private markets through Pomp Investments, which is a private, permanent capital vehicle.

Writing and media

I've written two books, How to Live an Extraordinary Life and How to Live an Extraordinary Life Volume Two. I write a daily email called The Pomp Letter, host The Pomp Podcast, and share ideas on X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

What I believe

Optimism is a competitive advantage, technology creates abundance, and hard work compounds. Family, health, and relationships matter more than money.
